What if our Mindfulness practice was more Beautiful?

This course follows the established arc of an eight-session structure, common in many Mindfulness trainings. However, the focus here is on a balance between learning and consolidating a range of meditation practices through an exploration of the psyche using poetry, art and creativity itself as the main lenses for attention. This Programme explores Mindfulness as an art for living by and in so doing seeks to reintroduce beauty and mystery to the heart of practice.

Practices of body, breath, awareness, movement, focusing and generating compassion for self and others can be found here alongside nature practices, and working with mantra and sound.

Explorations of personal and collective psychological structures, cultural conditions, Eastern and Western traditions of knowing, the many crises of our age and of the social dimension of relationships are all undertaken and considered as living expressions of and opportunities for Mindfulness.
My intention is to build a holistic understanding of how the practices and teachings of Mindfulness work in the conditions we experience in modern life, enhancing our relationship to our own being and the beingness of all around us. It is intended, in particular, for anyone who seeks to live vividly an engaged, creative life.

Each session is 2hrs log on average. Sessions are available for download individually, priced at £20/$30 – or the eight sessions of the complete course are available for a discounted rate at £120/$180 see www.keithhackwood.com for details
